Neck Pain

I have been a chiropractor for over 23 years. We see patients with neck pain on a daily basis. Neck pain is slightly less common than back pain, but no less important or treatable. We aim to be the best chiropractor you've ever seen.

Common causes of neck pain include, but are not limited to:

  • Herniated disc, degenerated disc, internal disc derangement.
  • Stenosis, which is caused by long term herniated discs or degenerative joints.
  • Muscle strain and/or excessive tension.
  • Osteoarthritis of the joints.

A sprain of the muscles, ligaments, or tendons in the neck area usually causes acute neck pain. Car accidents, repeated carrying of heavy items (such as luggage), or awkward sleeping positions are often the culprits. Most minor ligament or tendon injuries in the neck will improve with chiropractic care.

One common symptom of chronic neck pain is an ache that radiates down the arm, sometimes into the hands and fingers, accompanied by numbness or tingling. This is something we see frequently and also responds well to chiropractic care. We strive to use the best chiropractic methods available to help you recover.
